Successfully Conducts Two-Day Free Acupuncture Health Camp

Healthcare is not only about treatment; it is about compassion, humanity, and the responsibility to serve society with care and dignity. With this vision, DCWC Community Hospital successfully organized a two-day free acupuncture health camp aimed at improving community health and promoting natural healing services at 2nd and 3rd May 2026.

The health camp was conducted with the dedicated support and presence of experienced acupuncturists including Ishwor Raj Balamai, Rameshwor Karmacharya, Shubhas Chandra Dhakal, Ram Dev Mahato, and Dinesh Keju. Their contribution and commitment towards public healthcare played a vital role in making the program meaningful and successful.

On behalf of the hospital management sub-committee, coordinator Ratna Bahadur Lama warmly welcomed all the health professionals and officially inaugurated the camp with best wishes for its successful operation.

During the camp, acupuncture services were provided for various health conditions including migraine, arthritis, sciatica, stress, insomnia, constipation, asthma, neck and back pain, muscle pain, numbness in hands and legs, anxiety, indigestion, abdominal pain, and irregular menstruation. The camp focused on promoting holistic wellness and providing relief through safe and natural therapeutic methods.

A total of 515 participants benefited from the free health services during the two-day program. Among them, 210 were male participants and 305 were female participants. The encouraging participation reflected growing public awareness and trust in alternative and preventive healthcare practices.

At the conclusion of the program, hospital management representative Tul Bahadur Lama expressed sincere gratitude to all participants, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to the successful completion of the free acupuncture health camp. He also shared hope for continued community participation and support in future health service programs.

The successful completion of this health camp stands as an example of how healthcare institutions can create positive social impact through empathy, ethical responsibility, and community-centered service. DCWC Community Hospital remains committed to delivering accessible and quality healthcare services for the well-being of society.
