With the guiding belief that your health is our priority, DCWC Community Hospital continues to provide regular specialist health services to the local community. As part of this ongoing initiative, an eye check-up and eyeglasses distribution program was conducted on 15 August 2026 with the support of Optometrist Dr. Raju Kaiti, who is associated with an eye hospital.

During the program, Dr. Raju Kaiti provided specialized eye-care consultations to 50 patients throughout the day. Among the participants, 28 were female and 22 were male. The program focused on identifying and addressing common eye-related concerns such as redness, dryness, irritation, and other ongoing eye problems. Furthemore, Patients received professional advice regarding their eye health, along with necessary medicines provided free of cost.

As part of the program, eyeglasses and medicine were also distributed to the needful patients who required them. This support was particularly meaningful for community members who may otherwise face difficulty accessing regular eye-care services and corrective glasses.

During the examinations, two patients were identified as requiring cataract surgery. They were advised and encouraged to seek further treatment and undergo the necessary cataract operation.
