Blood Grouping Camp Successfully Conducted At Bhimeshowar Secondary School

A one-day blood grouping camp along with a brief "health awareness session" was successfully organized on 7th December 2025 at Bhimeshowar Secondary School.
The event was organized by DCWC Community Hospital, with full support from the school community of Thapagaun, Doramba Sailung Gaunpalika – Ward No. 7.

The program began with a warm welcome and a short introduction session. The event started with an informative session on Healthy Lifestyle, conducted by Dr. Katerina Spackova, an international volunteer from the Czech Republic.
She delivered an engaging, student-friendly presentation for students from Class 5 to 10. The students actively participated and enjoyed the session.

Total 105 students received their blood group Identification. The medical team from our hospital  performed blood grouping for 105 students within just 5 hours, including:

  • 60 female students
  • 45 male students

The main objective was to help students identify their blood type and raise awareness about health readiness during emergencies.
The organizers express heartfelt gratitude to all individuals and supporters who contributed to the success of the program.
