A one-day free dental health camp was successfully conducted at Shree Ganesh Basic School, located in Chaurideurali Gaupalika Ward-02, under the coordination of DCWC Hospital Management Manager, Tul Bahadur Lama at 22 February 2026 (2082/11/10).
The program officially began with an informative oral health session led by dental surgeon Dr. Sabina Suwal from our hospital. She guided students and community members on proper tooth preservation and demonstrated the correct brushing technique, emphasizing the importance of daily oral hygiene.
During the one-day free dental camp, a total of 38 individuals received services — including 16 females and 22 males. Among them:
18 patients were found to have dental problems
7 patients required extraction and were done in the school
5 patients needed teeth cleaning
4 patients were advised to undergo RCT treatment
Only 8 individuals were found to have healthy teeth
Addressing the gathering, Manager Tul Bahadur Lama encouraged all students and teachers to visit the hospital when needed and to prioritize the protection and regular care of their teeth.
In addition, Nursing In-Charge Saradha Karki conducted a practical session on the proper use of medicines in a First Aid box and provided essential health guidance to the participants.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire school family, the administration, teachers, and students for their warm welcome, hospitality, and valuable support in making this one-day free dental health camp a success.
Special thanks to dental doctor Dr. Sabina Suwal, Nursing In-Charge Sharada Karki, ambulance driver Tek Bahadur Thapa, and Manager Tul Bahadur Lama for their dedicated service and contribution to the community.
Together, we remain committed to promoting better oral health and community wellbeing.
